Warranty

Warranty 24-Month Comprehensive Warranty

1. Overview

We want you to sleep soundly, in every sense. Every bed frame and every mattress we sell is backed by a single, no-nonsense 24-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. One warranty, one claims process, whether your issue is with the frame or the mattress.

2. Duration & Territory

Item Details
Length of cover 24 calendar months (730 days) from the date shown on your receipt.
Products covered Bed frames and mattresses purchased from PSCL Beds. Bedding, electrical components and accessories are covered only where expressly stated on the product page.
Territory Valid in the country where the product was originally bought.
Original purchaser Cover applies only to the first retail purchaser and is not automatically transferable if the product is resold or gifted.

3. What the Warranty Covers

Bed frames

  1. Structural components – side rails, headboard posts, footboard, centre support.
  2. Metal fixings & hardware – bolts, brackets, centre support legs.
  3. Factory-installed finishes – paint, stain, or powder-coat that peels or blisters due to manufacturing fault.
  4. Moving parts (for ottoman and adjustable models) – hinges and gas lifts that fail through normal residential use.

Mattresses

  1. Spring unit faults – broken, loose or protruding springs or coils.
  2. Foam and filling defects – visible sagging or dipping deeper than 3 cm that is not caused by normal settlement, an unsupportive base, or bedding left on the mattress (measured with no weight on the mattress).
  3. Cover and construction faults – failed stitching, split seams, faulty zips, borders or handles resulting from a manufacturing defect.

Labour and replacement

  • Months 1 to 12: we supply parts or an equivalent replacement product and cover reasonable labour, collection and delivery costs in full.
  • Months 13 to 24: we still provide all replacement parts, or a replacement mattress where repair is impractical, free of charge; you pay only labour, call-out or delivery fees, which we will always quote before any work begins.

4. What the Warranty Excludes

All products

  • Normal cosmetic wear (minor scratches, nicks, natural colour changes, pilling of fabric).
  • Damage caused by:
    • incorrect assembly or over-tightening of bolts
    • commercial, rental, or institutional use
    • excessive humidity, mould, or water ingress
    • accidents, abuse, or moving house without proper disassembly and packing.
  • Bedding, electrical components, or any accessory unless expressly stated on the product page.
  • Any unauthorised repairs or modifications.

Mattresses specifically

  • Normal settlement. All new mattresses soften slightly and develop gentle body impressions as the comfort fillings settle around you. Impressions of up to 3 cm are a normal characteristic of a quality mattress, not a defect.
  • Stains, soiling and odours. For hygiene reasons we cannot inspect, repair or accept back a stained or soiled mattress, and staining voids the warranty on the affected mattress. We strongly recommend using a washable mattress protector from the first night.
  • Unsuitable base. Damage caused by using the mattress on a broken, unsupportive or incorrectly sized base, or on the floor.
  • Mishandling. Damage caused by standing or jumping on it, or removing the cover where it is not designed to be removed.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

5. Conditions for Warranty Validity

  1. Proof of purchase (digital or paper receipt) must be provided.
  2. Bed frames must be assembled and used strictly in accordance with the instruction manual supplied.
  3. The product must be located indoors in a dry, climate-controlled environment.
  4. All frame bolts must be checked and re-tightened after 30 days of first use and at least every six months thereafter.
  5. Mattresses must be used on a suitable, supportive base and rotated regularly in line with the care instructions supplied (do not flip one-sided mattresses).
  6. Mattresses must be clean and free of stains at the point of inspection; we recommend a mattress protector from day one.

6. How to Make a Claim (Step-by-Step)

  1. Photograph the issue – wide shot + close-ups. For mattress sagging claims, include a photo with a straight edge (such as a broom handle) laid across the mattress and a ruler showing the depth of the dip, with nothing on the mattress.
  2. Email [email protected]
    • Order number / receipt
    • Photos (maximum 10 MB per email)
    • Short description of the fault, when you first noticed it, and any troubleshooting already attempted.
  3. Response time – we aim to reply within 2 business days.
  4. Assessment – we may request additional photos or a virtual video inspection.
  5. Resolution – one of the following, at our discretion:
    • Free replacement part(s) shipped within 5-7 working days.
    • On-site repair appointment at a mutually convenient time.
    • Full replacement of the frame or mattress if repair is impractical.
  6. Turnaround target – most issues are resolved within 14 days of approval.

7. Shipping & Returns

  • Replacement parts are sent via a tracked courier service at no cost to you during the first 12 months.
  • If we need the defective part back, we will provide a prepaid return label.
  • Where a mattress is approved for replacement, we deliver the new mattress and collect the faulty one at the same visit. Please have the faulty mattress accessible and, for hygiene, protected in a bag or its original wrapping where possible.
  • Frames approved for replacement must be disassembled and packaged by the customer unless otherwise agreed.

8. Availability of Parts After Warranty

We keep spare parts for at least five years after a model is discontinued. After the warranty period, these parts are available at cost plus postage.
